Approach
My coaching follows a three-stage approach, which has been proved to help more than 50+ candidates get offers from various consulting firms. I also have established a mentoring platform in Southeast Asia with 60+ top mentors, so I have extensive learning of what worked and what did not.
First, we would do Case and Fit Baselining with you to measure your case and fit performance. After this step, you would learn quick-win tactical improvement areas that you can apply almost immediately in your next case interviews.
Second, we would go through Rapid Case Iterations i.e., 2 hard cases in one session to naturally force your casing approach to incorporate feedback from the Baselining session. At this stage, I'd also ask you to build Fit Response Board, an approach I developed to take out 80% of the surprises in the fit part of case interviews.
Finally, after a few mock cases (which don't have to be with me), We'd run Stretch Simulation where we'll look at a hard case and some of the more challenging fit questions.
Style
I run all the mock cases simulating the real situation as real as possible. This means I may have to get into the ‘tough interviewer’ character. It may not be very comfortable for you, but I'd believe it is much needed as you'd never know which interviewers you'd get.
My style is very direct as I'm acting in your best interest to get the offer. I'd be honest and transparent. If I think you are not ready, I'd tell you right away to delay your interviews.
Previous clients have highlighted how actionable and detailed my feedbacks were and I'm happy to share their contacts with you should you want to call them.
