Sent email today for follow up today and this is the response:
“Thank you for following up.
You will be receiving communication by next week.”
I am on pin and needles and not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

Not sure about the context (office, position, hiring cycle) but this generally means that they have not reached a decision because interviewers have not discussed your case yet or they are waiting for other candidates.
