I have done my final interview last Friday, so 7 days ago, for Dubai Office
I have not recieved the call yet, I heard that those who are succfully passed should hear gets the call first, where those who have not, they call them later, is that true?

This is absolutely not true. The timing of the call doesn’t indicate the outcome of your application. I can tell you that the past week, McKinsey Middle East has been particularly busy with internal events, which is likely the reason for the delay.

It is not generally true that successful candidates get called first. There are so many variables that go into the timing of feedback calls, including the availability of the interviewers and recruiters - and these could vary from candidate to candidate.
I recommend following up with recruiting for feedback and to align your expectations with their communication schedule

one week after a McKinsey final round is still completely normal, especially in Dubai where decisions often take longer due to alignment and travel. It’s not always true that offers are called first and rejections later, timing can vary a lot by office and partner availability. From my time at McKinsey, I’ve seen strong candidates wait 1 to 2 weeks and still get a positive call, so I wouldn’t read too much into it yet. Feel free to follow up politely if it goes beyond that.

It’s important not to push too much for a quick answer, as decisions can take time for various reasons. A long wait is often due to scheduling challenges or availability issues among team members who need to meet to finalize decisions. It’s not indicative of the outcome, positive or negative.
