I recently saw in the news that there will be a salary increase for the MBB. I have signed my offer letter but will be starting in January and have not signed the employment contract. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea if the salary increase should include everyone or just newcomers?
Asking for anyone who maybe has had and heard about how this works?

Most likely this will apply to everyone. If not, they would have people with almost the same seniority and different salary which would not be good for the morale of those with lower salary.

The salary increase will apply to existing employees and new joiners. There won't be different salary bands for the same role in the same office.

My guess is that the salary increase will apply to existing employees (MBB is quite serious about equal base salary pay).
That said, it's possible they will not…regardless, you'll find out soon enough! If you really want, you can email them to inquire.

My guess is that it will apply to everyone - as others have pointed out, MBB offices have new hires at the same office + role starting out a the same rate, so whether you signed the contract already or not shouldn't make a difference.
It is likely to include everyone, as they usually pay the same to everyone at the same level.

If in the US, that increase should be already reflected in the offer that you were given, assuming this has happened in the last weeks.
For instance, the offers that had been signed following internships in the Fall were modified this Spring, even after being signed, this is why I think in yours the change should be already ther
