I would habe a question regarding capgemini invent. Somehow I cannot really find them in many rankings amongst other consulting firms and was therefore curious how they are perceived in the market and amongst other consulting firms. Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know, Capgemini is a large company with worldwide name recognition! You can trust and contact customer service and they will help you answer related questions.

I would personally place them in the boutique/tier 3. It doesn't mean they are a bad firm though! I actually tend to find that people who work there are quite happy.
Please don't eliminate firms. Apply to all of them and then see what offers you have (from there you can eliminate…if/when you have a choice).

They're a big firm with a global footprint, but most people would still consider them a tier 3.
That's mostly because even though they're big, they're not that big to compete with Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Kearney, etc.
Still, my recommendation would be to apply broadly anyway. Aim for as many firms as you can. Even if you're not interested in working for them if you were to get an offer, it's still great interviewing practice for the interviews that actually matter.
