I have a first-round interview coming up with Applied Value Group (AVG) for an Analyst/Consultant role, and I’m looking for some insight into their unique interview structure.
My recruiter let me know the round is 1 hour total: 30 minutes behavioral/fit, 20 minutes for the case, and 10 minutes for Q&A.
Given AVG’s heavy focus on procurement, supply chain, and operations, a 20-minute case sounds incredibly fast-paced. The recruiter shared a few past case examples, one of them being a "Market Sizing / Business Feasibility" case for opening a coffee shop, explicitly mentioning analyzing Fixed Costs (FC) and Variable Costs (VC).
The recruiter also shared general case-prep resources alongside a specific deep-dive link on market-sizing questions, which makes me suspect the case will lean heavily into micro-market sizing/demand estimation paired with a rapid break-even analysis.
I would love to get the community's thoughts
