Recruitment Process in Bain

Hi there,
The recruiting process takes some time, so you will have to wait a bit to get a reply.
If you don’t hear back after a few weeks, you have two main options to followup:
- Look for someone that can refer you ex-post. If they have not screened yet your application, it could help to get noticed. You can find more on referrals here: https://www.preplounge.com/en/consulting-forum/hey-everyonehope-all-is-well-3176
- Reach out to HR. They won’t probably be able to provide feedback. But at least, they may be able to provide a timeline for when they will communicate results. I would call rather than send an email
Best,
Francesco

Hi there,
This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:
- First of all, would it be possible if you could elaborate a little bit more on what has happened since it seems to be rather hard to understand what happend?
- Generally speaking, you should always receive a confirmation e-mail after having applied to a role with Bain. In case you have not (and you have also checked your e-mail spam folder), I would advise you to get in touch with the local recruiting department to confirm your application.
In case you want a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare your upcoming interviews with Bain, please feel free to contact me directly.
I hope this helps,
Hagen

Hi there,
How long ago did you receive this email and reply?
You'll need to wait at least a few weeks for them to process your application.

Hi!
It takes some time! Send a follow-up if you don't hear back within a couple of weeks.
Good luck,
Anto

What is the question, exactly, and can you provide a bit more detail?

One week to reply is a very short timeframe. They process this in batches, and then consultants usually only go through the CV decks on fridays. Expect 2-3 weeks as the standard.
