Hi everyone. How can we know if a case is an opportunity assessment case? Are there any particular keywords that I should be aware of during such a case prompt?

And any recommended case study on PrepLounge or any other sites for this particular case? I tried looking for one on PrepLounge's case library but could not seem to find one specifically targeted for this case.

Thank you.

Hi,

I start off by saying that the term opportunity assessment is quite vague. Think about it: Market entry, new product / new service, M&A, outsourcing etc. are all sort of opportunities. And still, all of those case scenarios require completely different and highly specific approaches.

Is there are a specific scenario you refer to?

Best,
Denis

Hello!

Sorry, not sure whether I understand your question. All cases are actually opportunity assesments, graded, and you need to do well in order to move to the next round. Is this what you refer to?

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi there,

I completely agree with Denis. Really, any case can essentially be spun into "opportunity assessment".

Could you clarify what you're really driving at here? Investment decision?
