MBA, 1.5 yr experience - Bain Consultant?

Hey all,
So, my question is pretty straightforward since I didn't receive an objective answer I would appreciate your insights. I have 1.5 years of experience post MBA, can I still apply to a Consultant position? I have all the requirements, but for Manager not, since I do not have consulting experience.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, at this stage you should still apply for a Consultant position. If they believe it is appropriate, they might recognize some seniority when they extend the offer.

Good luck!

Yes - you can apply to any MBB for the same role that you would have gotten immediately post your MBA. Manager like you said is not an ideal option for you at this point given less than 2 yrs post MBA and no consulting experience.

At BCG, you will still be considered for a Consultant position, and not a Manager/PL position.

All the best!
