Dear Eirini,

congratulations. These are great news. Here some tips:

1) Try to grow before each round of interviews, so practise targeted drills in any of your improvement areas.

2) Perfect your communication style and your leadership during cases. Remind yourself of the typical steps in the case interview: •Before the interview: clarify if it is interviewer or interviewee led, if you do not know – lead through

•Prompt

•Recap

•Clarifying questions

•2-3

•Framework design

•3-5 categories

•Hypotheses, analyses, drivers

•Framework presentation

•Ask if approach is fine

•Individual case elements

•Sub-conclude each

•Put information into context

•Recommendation

•Conclusions

•Next steps

•(Risks)

4) Try to find more pros for why Deloitte, so you have plenty to say in your next round on the plus points

5) Perfect your storytelling and top-down communication

Of course with more background information, I can give more tips. Most importantly, all the best, it will go very well.

Hello Eirini!

Written case interviews are indeed becoming very fashionable nowadays as a way to interview!

Remember that the skillset tested is the same than in the "usual" cases, hence, all the practice you may have done totally plays in your favor.

One important point to add is the need to be very 80-20, structured and to the point, since the prep time is very short, so we need discipline with the analysis to have enaugh time to prep the communication strategy.

There are many many entries in thsi same Q&A regarding written cases, hence, I would recommend you to look with the keywords "written case"

Hope it helps!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi Eirini,

Well done on getting this far! Nearly there :).

Sounds like its a written case exercise. Did they say anything about preparing slides or its just a verbal presentation back?

Deloitte generally gives long cases with plenty of data, charts etc , so make sure to prioritise, draw out good structure and state your assumptions clearly.

If you need help preparing, feel free to send me a direct message. I have plenty of cases handy for practice. I am ex-Deloitte, Supply Chain is my area of expertise. and I have helped plenty of candidates get through to Deloitte.

For some good tips on preparing for such cases, have a look at this thread:

Hi Eirini,

Ultimately, keep doing what you're doing! If you received feedback or noted weaknesses yourself, work through these.
