Hi everyone,
I’m simultaneously in the final stages of two graduate‐level recruitment processes for Financial Services (FS) consulting in Milan:
- Strategy& (PwC) – all interviews completed, now awaiting the final decision.
- Monitor Deloitte – first round (two interviews) passed; waiting for feedback to (hopefully) proceed to the second and last round (two more interviews).
If I end up with two offers, which FS team would you choose and why? I’d love first‑hand insight on:
- Market reputation among Italian banks/insurers.
- Nature of projects (pure strategy vs. large‑scale transformations, ESG, digital banking, etc.).
- Early‑career development and training in the first 2‑3 years.
- Office culture & work–life balance specific to Milan.
- Compensation package (entry‑level salary, bonus, perks) – indicative numbers welcomed.
- Exit opportunities (corporate strategy roles, fintech, MBA placement).
I realise experiences vary by project and manager; I’m after the broad differences to help me decide.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
