What are the business class rules and what's it like flying internationally on a regular basis for a project?
-Business class everytime? Does it feel cool? Having to work on the plane a lot take away from the experience?

The rules are very system dependent.
In SEA, business class is only allowed for client work >6 hours away, and for trainings >8 hours away.
We fly within SEA on economy. So no, not the most fun especially when you still have to try and work on that tiny tray table :)

I used to work for BCG until a few months ago:
In the US, we had the rule that flights above 90 min would be in business.
In the EU, we had the rule that only hours above 5 hours would be in business

Yep. Different companies and offices have different rules. In general for national flights if it's more than 2 hours. International more than 4. But may vary.
You'll be working most of the time, so it's not cool at all.
But you can collect miles and use them for personal flights, that is a great advantage.
