Hey Phillip,
I'll send you a PM, but just remember that the same key principles apply here as to casing and real-world consulting
1) Understand the context/prompt - Make sure you understand the scenario. How does the company operate and make money? Who are their customers and main competitors? What is their value proposition?
2) Understand the objective - i.e. what is actually being asked of you. What is the problem. You need to be clear on this to move onto #3
3) Quickly process information, and focus on what's important - Take a lot of information and the unknown, find the most logical path, and focus on that. There will be way more information than you need...leverage #2 to hone in on the exhibits that matter...leverage hypotheses here
4) Structure your thinking and communications - Ensure you have enough time/brainpower to write a clear reocmmendation. Only use the items in #3 that tell your story the most effectively. Ideally, you already have a view as to your story before you start steps #3 and 4
Good luck!
