Bain SOVA Assesment

Hello! I recently got invited to take the Bain SOVA assessment. I just have a couple of questions about the process:

1. Getting the assessment means I passed the resume screening?

2. What are the best ways to prepare for this assessment?

Just some background information, this is for Bain Iberia and the invitation was sent 6 days after applying.

Thank you for the help.

Congrats!

Most offices send the test to all those who have an ‘eligible’ application - meaning, they scan your documents to see that you have the right profile, but they don't assess them in depth.

Then, once you do the test, they actually look at both the test results and the application package.

You can find paid simulations of the test online. I have a few example tests from other firms that I can share for free. Do reach out directly if interested.

You might find this useful though:

Hi there,

Congrats!

1. It is usually evaluated in combination with the resume.

2. There are tons of guides and practice drills out there. The best way to prepare is a. understand the types of questions and their difficulty level, b. learn some tricks and shortcuts, and b. practice with actual drills under time pressure (even though the real test is not officially timed…).

Reach out if you need help!

Cheers,

Florian

1. No. Your resume will still be taken into account when deciding on whether you pass to the interview round or not.

2. There are online resources available, not difficult to find them.
