Congrats on receiving an invite! This is what I heard about the HireVue digital interview:

What it entails:

• Pre-recorded video questions, you'll see a question on screen, have ~30 seconds to prepare, and ~2 minutes to answer
• Some interviews include written or multiple-choice questions, depending on the firm
• You’ll likely face a mix of:
  • Behavioral questions (e.g., “Tell me about a time you handled a challenge”)
  • Motivation questions (e.g., “Why this firm/role?”)
  • Possibly case-style or logic questions, if it’s a consulting or analytical role

How to prepare:

• Practice structuring your answers using STAR or PARADE format
• Record yourself answering sample questions, focus on clarity, eye contact, and concise delivery
• Prep common behavioral topics: leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, failure, and motivation
• Keep your environment quiet, well-lit, and distraction-free
• Dress as you would for a live interview, first impressions still matter!

Congrats on getting the invite! For BAE’s Management Consulting internship, the HireVue usually includes motivational and competency-based questions (e.g., teamwork, problem-solving, why consulting, why BAE). Some past candidates also mentioned situational judgment questions.
