It’s been a little over 2 weeks since I’ve taken the online case assessment for BCG Middle East and I haven’t heard back regarding the 1st round interview decision. Are such delays normal?

My advice would be to wait another week and, if you still haven’t received a response, send a polite follow-up email to the recruitment team. It’s a good idea to show continued interest, but keep it professional and brief.
MBBs typically let you know either way.
