Whiteshield One-Way Interview

Hey,

I got a message from Whiteshield about the next step on my assessment: one-way interview with 5 questions. They provide a brief description of what I should expect, but it's kind of vague.

I wonder what exactly should I be aiming at? Anyone went through their process?

I addition, if I manage to get to the case-based interview, what should I expect?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the invitation from Whiteshield!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:

  • First of all, I would strongly advise you to use PrepLounge's search function. About 1.5 years ago, someone asked a question about this exact topic (see here).
  • Moreover, the person who asked the question shared this: "Email mentioned it will assess motivation, communication skills and data interpretation skills." If this is still the case, I don't understand what's unclear to you. The dimensions are clearly outlined, so you can prepare for situations in which you demonstrated these traits. Those are most likely the types of questions you will face.
  • Lastly, to be certain on the entire application process, I would strongly advise you to reach out to current and/or past consultants and/or the recruiter for insights on the video interview and the rest of the application process.

You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming Whiteshield interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

hey :)

it includes questions on motivation, your understanding of public policy/economics, and some structured thinking—aim to be concise, logical, and show genuine interest in their mission. for the case part later, expect policy-heavy or macroeconomic-style cases (think labor markets, education, trade, etc.), often more qualitative than MBB but still structured. happy to help prep if you’d like!

best, Alessa 😊

Not sure on this one. You’re probably best off speaking to a Middle East coach who knows Whiteshield.

Aside from speaking to a coach, you could also send some targeted questions to the recruiting team to get more info.

Hi there,

If you're unsure about the format, the best thing you can do is actually reach out to the recruiter and clarify. Ask even whether they have any sample questions.

It's absolutely fine to do this as long as you're polite about it and it only signals that you are somebody who is keen about the role.

Best,
Cristian

I suggest you have a look at the company's profile at Glassdoor.
