On Friday afternoon I got an email saying i got the second round interview (in person, this time) but they will give me details of the day and time "shortly". I send an email on Sunday saying thank you and that I'm looking forward to their email and to meet them again. Now is Wednesday afternoon and they haven't schedule the interview yet. It is a big corporation so I don't know if they take longer or how long to wait until i send a follow up email? Should i be worried?
Second round interview not schedule yet. How long to wait?

Hi there,
Getting the notification on Friday and not yet hearing on Wednesday is quite normal. Often, internally HR is trying to check to see who will be suitable and available to interview you so they're also probably waiting for someone else to get back to you. I suggest waiting until early next week before reaching out and gently asking whether there are any updates.

Hey there :)
No need to worry, big corporations often take a few days to coordinate schedules, especially for in-person rounds. Since you already sent a thank you, I’d give it until early next week before following up again if you still haven’t heard anything. A small delay like this is completely normal and doesn’t reflect badly on your chances.
best, Alessa :)

Hi there,
This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. Large companies often take several days to coordinate schedules between multiple interviewers, especially for in-person rounds. Since you already sent a polite thank-you note on Sunday, I would wait until the end of the week before following up again. A short, professional email early next week is perfectly appropriate if you have not heard back by then.
The key is to stay patient but proactive. Delays at this stage are usually logistical, not a negative signal about your candidacy.

Hi there,
This is normal — large corporations often take a week or more to coordinate interview schedules, especially for in-person rounds where multiple interviewers’ calendars need to align. Since you just followed up on Sunday, I’d give it until early next week (around 7–10 days after their “shortly” email) before sending a polite check-in.
No need to worry — the delay is almost always logistical, not a bad sign. A short, professional nudge next week is the right move if you still haven’t heard.
Best,
Evelina
