Sorry, but it hard to believe that they pay only around $80k to recent MBA graduates (Associate level).
You said associate MBB...Associate BCG is entry level, so be careful with your precise communication :). Associate at McKinsey is post-MBA and would be around $150k-170k base

This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:
- First of all, you are absolutely true that glassdoor figures are somewhat distorted.
- From the experience of coachees of mine and my personal network, you could expect around $200K (incl. bonus) as an MBA hire (in case you are talking about the McKinsey “Associate” and not the BCG “Associate” or Bain “Associate Consultant” since these are different levels with (mostly) the same naming).

Completely agree glassdoor is not reliable :)
Entry-level salaries are generally around $80k-85k.
For future reference, management consulted normally publishes accurate salaries!
