After Bain final round for AC, I waited 2/3 weeks and finally emailed asking for updates, and they replied within 15 mins of my email with the automated template email of rejection. Since then, I’ve been waiting for some feedback but almost 4 weeks (and two follow ups from me) later and still no feedback. Disappointing that there’s nothing I can take from this - is this common?

hey! So sorry to hear that first of all! => unfortunately this is very common with Bain. Final‑round rejections often come with either no feedback or extremely delayed feedback. The reason is simple: once the decision is made, the team moves on to active candidates and staffing priorities, and feedback becomes a “nice to have” rather than an obligation. It’s not a reflection of you or your performance.
Two to three weeks for the rejection email and then four weeks with no feedback is exactly what many candidates experience. Bain’s process is usually clean and kind during interviews, but post‑decision communication can be slow. Your follow‑ups were reasonable; if they haven’t replied by now, you may or may not get anything at all.
