Hello,
I'm just did my second last of interviews for a Senior Analyst role in O&G. I think qualitatively/behaviorally, it's been going great, I really vibed with most of the interviewers. However, when I get asked a quantitative questions, i.e., profitability/EBIDTA/etc., it catches me off-guard as these aren't things I deal with on a day to day basis, hence, I don't think I've been performing to my top 100% in that area. The hiring manager has, reached out me saying they'd like to test me on quants while making sure I am fully briefed on what to expect, how to solve consulting problems, etc.
1. Has anyone ever been in this position, if yes, what was the process like, and what should I be expecting in terms of the questions, it seems to me like a case interview type deal.
2. My background has primarily been very science/technical based, so what are the best resources I can use to crash course on, what type of questions should I be focusing on. I reckon I only have a few days before this test.
Thanks all!
