Post screening follow up?

I had two screenings at two firms, one last week and one two weeks ago, and in both interviews the HR representative told me to be on the lookout for the scheduler's emails for interview scheduling. It's been 2 and 1 week respectively, and no news from either firm, and there has been no update as well from the recruiter after sending out follow up emails.

What is a reasonable timeline for this type of process? Should I just cut my losses and move on? I assume since they haven't replied that they must have some reason for ignoring.

Hi there,

If they mentioned you are going to have interviews it is highly unlikely they will change plans.

The time to have the interview scheduled after confirmation you passed the previous steps may range from a few days to several weeks. It depends on the HR pipeline for that particular company.

The best way to speed up the process is if you get an offer (not interview) from another company – in that way you can create urgency and they should speed up the process (that's what happened for me with BCG).

Hope this helps,

Francesco

2-4 weeks is reasonable wait time. Please be patient. Continue your search and application process in parallel.

All the best and fingers crossed for you.
