Please help interpret my BCG equaltrue assessment results

Just to piggyback on a post I saw , I also took the assessment and would appreciate a similar read.
I got the following results: 
Cognitive traits
Leaning ability/ Working memory: 4/5
Cognitive flexibility: 1/5 more routined and structured 
Problem solving ability: 5/5

Behavioural traits
Problem solving style: 3/5 - this is a scale between intuitive and strategic so neutral I use different approaches based on the problem. 1/5 is intuitive, 5/5 is strategic. So 5/5 does not necessarily reflect a high score.
Speed-accuracy tradeoff: 1/5 - this is a scale meaning I prioritise accuracy over speed. 1/5 would have prioritised speed over accuracy. I assume being in the middle range is better.
Information Sharing: 3/5 suggesting neutral a good amount as reported by equaltrue
Tolerance for Mistakes: 3/5 good
I am not sure exactly how to interpret this - is this a good/bad/average score?

The score is what the score is! It's in the past.

Any second you spend worrying about it is time and energy you're not spending on the future.

It's done. Move on.

Get case prepping. Get networking with and applying to other firms.

Don't worry about 1 test for 1 company that's in the past. Always focus on that which you can control: the future.

hey there :)

overall this is a solid profile and definitely not a red flag. your 5/5 problem solving and strong working memory are the most important signals and clearly positive for BCG.

the only thing that stands out is the 1/5 cognitive flexibility and the 1/5 speed accuracy tradeoff. this basically means you are very structured but may stick too long to one approach and work a bit slower because you double check a lot. that is not bad, but in consulting they also look for adaptability and pace.

your behavioural traits are nicely balanced, especially the neutral problem solving style and information sharing which is what they typically want.

so in short, good overall with one development area. if you get interviews, just show that you can pivot quickly and don’t overanalyse.

Interpreting the score won't actually give you any indication of how likely you are to pass screening.

There is no official cutoff point for the score. 

So it will be judged together with your CV, CL, referral (if applicable) and against the expectations from the role you're applying, the hiring constraints they have at that time and the volume of candidates interested in that role. 

The best thing you can do is focus on developing other applications in the meantime.

Your profile is not alarming. Strong problem solving, solid learning ability, neutral behavioral scores. The one thing worth noting is the low cognitive flexibility score. In consulting that could read as someone who struggles to shift approaches mid-problem. Not a disqualifier, just something to be aware of.

The behavioral scales are not good or bad. They describe a style. BCG is probably using them to understand team fit, not to filter people out.

The real question is whether you moved forward. If yes, the assessment did its job. If not, you will likely never know exactly why.

Do not spend too much time on this. Focus on your case performance and fit narrative. That is where the real work is.
