Hi, I’ve been invited to OW’s online video assessment (Phenom), for the entry level consultant role. It’s a recorded one-way video interview that takes around 15 mins. There are 2 sections, with 2 short questions at the start, and then 5 video interview questions. Does anyone know what the questions are like, and how to prepare for them? Will it be behavioural or case-related? Thank you!

The OW online assessment tests numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning, not behavioural questions or cases.
You’ll analyze data in charts and tables, interpret business texts, and solve pattern-recognition or logical problems under time pressure. It’s designed to assess cognitive and analytical skills needed for consulting.
I would recommend you to prepare by practicing reasoning tests, especially data interpretation, mental math, and logical puzzles and getting comfortable working quickly under time constraints.
The Phenom video interview is behavioral, not case-related. The warm-up questions are simple, things like "tell me about yourself" or "why consulting."
The five main questions will cover motivation, teamwork, handling challenges, and why Oliver Wyman specifically. Standard behavioral territory.
A few things that help. Speak at a natural pace, do not rush. Structure answers simply: situation, what you did, what happened. Keep each answer around 90 seconds.
Have a genuine answer for why OW specifically. Generic answers stand out badly in recorded formats.
Do a test run with your camera and mic beforehand. Technical issues are distracting and completely avoidable.

The Oliver Wyman Phenom video interview is usually mainly behavioural rather than case based. Most questions focus on motivation for consulting and for OW, teamwork experiences, leadership or challenging situations, and sometimes how you approach problem solving. They typically want to see clear communication, structured answers, and a strong reason for choosing the firm.
A good way to prepare is to practice short, structured answers using examples from your experience and to keep them concise and clear, since the responses are usually time limited.

I believe this is a newer format that they are using.
I recommend you reach out to the recruiter to ask these additional questions about the interview format.
They should be willing to help because it's also in their interest that candidates are well prepared for the tests.
