Hi all,
I currently hold an offer to join the London office of a T2 firm this fall. However, I want to try and get into MBB London eventually and was wondering if it makes sense to try and apply for entry roles this fall (sept/oct). By the time I apply to MBB, I would not have started (or worked for a few weeks) at my T2 company. I think I have realistic chances to get to the MBB interview stages (I have before) but was wondering if this make sense to do now.
Should I add my experience at the T2 to my CV?
I have some contacts in MBB firms I can ask for a referral from if I really wanted to but is this better used in the future?
thanks for your reply. Regardless of an MBB offer, I would join the T2 firm this fall with the ambition to then start at MBB following 2024 autumn. This would mean I have 1 year of experience at the T2 firm before joining but of course not when I apply to join MBB. Would you say it's a dumb idea to include the fact that I have a T2 offer on my CV?
Im assuming I have higher chances when I work at the T2 for 1 year and have this on my CV and then apply next year to MBB?
