Hi,
I applied for the McKinsey Insight program at the Chicago office in March 2022, but I didn't make it through after the Imbellus test. McKinsey only hosts four regional Insight events across North America - I didn't get any feedback.
I have applied for the full-time position now. I got an email invite to take the Imbellus but was told not to take it hours later as I already have the test on my file, and that I am allowed to take the test only once in a 12-month period.
1. Does not getting into the Insights program mean that I failed the test? I didn't think much about it then as I was preparing for the full-time position - I took the test seriously, and I don't think that I could have failed from what I learned from the Q&As here.
2. Given that I got an invite last week, it's likely that I passed the cv screening stage. When will I hear back about the next steps in the application process or the status of my application?
Update (July 5, 2022): I just got an invite for first-round interviews.
