Is Simon-Kucher interviewer led or candidate-led?

Hi,

I have a case interview at Simon-Kucher in a month, and I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience interviewing there? In that case, which type of interview did you experience? Interviewer-led or candidate led?

Thank you in advance!

Hey Nora!

From recent exerperience from my German mentees I would argue it's interviewer-led! Let me know if you need insights for their interviews! Happy to support!

Hi Nora

Congrats on your upcoming interview! From what I understand, the format can sometimes vary depending on the case. No matter the format, it’s important to show leadership and actively drive the case forward, so keep that in mind as you prepare.

Good luck!

By now, most interviews are somewhere in between (plus, the particular style of each interviewer also influences this).

If anything, I would approach it primarily as a candidate-led interview. This way you signal that you want to lead the case forward.

Best,
Cristian
