I happen to apply for a full-time position with McK for 2020. Majority of the people I know that applied for the same position have heard back.
I am yet to see any email regarding the status of my application and I know people who will be interviewing soon. The only difference is that we applied to different offices. Is it okay to email the recruiter to ask about my application?

What do you think is the worst-case scenario if you reach out? What can they do?
The candidates are afraid of reaching out, but they don't realize that the HRs are there to help you. They are not the decision-makers - they are the people who work with your docs. And it's totally fine to call, e-mail, etc
