Hi PrepLounge, Resume Guidance

Question

Hello everyone,

I've gone through several iterations of my resume points, but as I don't know many people working for MBB firms, I'm reaching out here for feedback. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could take a look at these bullet points and provide me with some advice. I'm open to feedback, as I've tried to include as much as possible within limited space. English is not my primary language, so there may be some grammatical errors.

1: These two are my opening lines. It's one of the longer projects I worked on and achieved quite a lot from self development and outcomes wise.

2: Super cool project, not sure if I have written it in the correct MBB manner here.

-Please disregard the colour of each line here.

3: I have also separated any initiatives where I have personally been in a leading capacity to be under this specific section. Leading to me means, stakes are quite high, client challenge is quite complex, and the output required/ delivered is dependent mostly on my performance. Happy to take feedback here and make changes wherever necessary.

Remember that a full resume review is a paid service (like any form of knowledge transfer e.g. taxes, wealth management, physio, etc.).

Your 2nd bullet point is the best one. Most of the rest are “close” but I don't see enough about what YOU actually did (key activities/responsibilities"

Section 1 is good.

Section 2, I think you should mention what was the actual IMPACT generated. Example: you mentioned helping the CFO with advice. What did it result in for him/her?

Section 3: it is relevant if you are going for a managerial role I think. If you are doing for Associte/Consultant role, I would focus more on execution.

These bullet points already look good. And I think you can get a lot of useful feedback below, but if you get 10 cooks to prepare a dinner it's likely to be a disaster.

I know CV reviews cost money, but it's a great ROI considering that they put you within the top quartile of candidates.
