EY Question.

Hi,

I'd be grateful for help in understanding the below.

1. I note that Transaction Strategy & Execution sits under Parthenon. I see that TSE comes under Parthenon. How does this reconcile with SaT ? And things like Buy & Integrate, etc.? Having trouble understanding how it all fits. For example, what is the relationship between SaT EMEIA and TSE?

2. Thoughts on Sector Insights Acceleration? Can't seem to find anything on this.

Thanks.

Hello,

From an outsiders' perspectives, it seems to me that EY Parthenon is a separate company that exclusively focuses on management consulting.

Whereas EY in general will have their own audit, tax and advisory teams. Within this advisory department, there can be several teams like the SaT.

For a thorough and clear demarcation of scope of work and salaries - its best to network with HR/Consultants at the firm.

All the best!

Hi there,

This is exactly what networking is for! These are fantastic questions to ask while networking and show the person that you're truly figuring out how the firms works and it if it will be good for you.

Hi there,

Spoke to a friend who works at EYP for clarification.

  • S&T is the umbrella group that EYP sits under. In addition to EYP, S&T also does FDD, valuation, infrastructure advisory
  • TSE is more a functional expertise within EYP - they focus on post-deal support e.g. PMI

Hope this helps!
