Estimate Number of Caskets / Mortality Rate

How would one approach let's say the worth of caskets industry or alternatively the number of people dying in a year?

I am thinking of these pathways.

Population - > look at the general of elderly people. Know that average age span is 60-70, so would take them as primary candidates.

I was then considering income status, meaning if they can afford treatment they might live a bit longer by a few years

In terms of caskets, I will take religion into account for example done religions use it.

How do you account for deaths that are not natural? Infants, accidents, diabetes, obesity etc?

I can see multiple facets but don't know how to conclude or proceed further.

Please suggest and let me know.

Hi,

If the life expectancy is 70 years, then the number of people dying each year is 1/70 * population
