Hi there,
I would first ask the recruiter what the exact format of the interview will be.
Often, for Platinion, they would have the regular interview with general cases (i.e., focusing on analysing your skills not knowledge, and the cases could be from any industry) + a technical interview (which is focused on testing your technical knowledge through either an ERP-focused case or through direct questions). On top of this comes the personal fit component, which once again, might require you to draw on stories from your ERP experience.
In short, you need to find out how exactly the interview will be structured and that's going to give you a clear idea of what to focus on. You can of course also come back here and repost your answer and I'm happy to provide a more tailored suggestion.
Best,
Cristian
Hi Aydan,
First of all, congratulations on the (presumed) invitation from BCG Platinion!
I would be happy to share my thoughts on your question:
You can find more on this topic here: How to succeed in the final interview round.
If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming BCG pre-interview assessment and/or interviews, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Hi there,
Just ask the recruiter — they’ll always have the most accurate and up-to-date info about your interview setup.
That said, here’s the general rule: if you’re applying for a specialist or tech-focused role, expect a mix. Usually:
Even if the topic is tech-heavy, the interviewer will still expect structured thinking, clear communication, and problem-solving under pressure — just like in any consulting interview.
Best,
Alberto
Hi there,
In addition to the above, this page may be useful.

As other coaches have mentioned, you’ll likely have a case, a technical interview, and some fit component.
Strongly recommend reaching out to a recruiter to confirm, as they will be able to give you intel direct from the source
hey!
For BCG Platinion ERP roles, prep should be more technical and implementation-focused than classic management consulting. You’ll still get case-style questions, but expect topics like IT strategy, system selection, architecture trade-offs, transformation challenges, and ERP lifecycle. They care about structured thinking, but also your tech fluency and ability to bridge business and IT.
So mix classic case prep with tech-heavy scenarios, and be ready to discuss real project experience in detail. Strong communication is still key!
Happy to run a mock if helpful!
Best,
Alessa :)
