Hi, I would be applying to Bain in South East Asia soon. May I know what is the culture like in Bain South East Asia? Thanks!
Bain South East Asia culture?

There's no better way of figuring this out that speaking with the peple who work there.
Starting to networking with them might even get you a referral in the process.
You can read these two resources to figure out how to do it:
- Expert Guide: How To Handle Networking Calls and Get Referrals
- Expert Guide: How To Get Referrals Via LinkedIn?
Aside from this, based on my own sample of candidates and contacts, I wouldn't say that there's a difference that is driven by Bain (as in Bain SE Asia vs McK SE Asia) but rather by the fact that you'll have more specific to it being an Asian office rather than an European one for instance.
Best,
Cristian

Hi,
The people there are great and the work they do is interesting, albeit given they are smaller than McK and BCG, the meaningful difference will be in terms of exposure to different projects/client types etc.
I feel that Bain SEA has the best WLB out of MBB in SEA in general (speaking with friends across firms).
Hope this helps to clarify!

Hi there,
I highly recommend you use this as a networking "excuse". You're best off applying with a referral. While searching for one, reach out to people there to better learn the culture :)
In general, from my understanding/experience, the SE Asia culture for MBB is quite intense and hard-working.

Would knowing about the culture change your decision to apply?
Would knowing about the culture change the way you approach the company and the job?
You've already decided you are going to apply - go for it - prepare well - and then build your way through the firm!
