I have a big four audit apprenticeship from which I will get an AAT qualification and ACA. Is it possible for me to break into strategy/management consulting after the 5 year apprenticeship programme, and if so how would I go about doing so?

Yes, it’s definitely possible! Your ACA and audit experience give you a strong foundation. To make the switch, focus on networking (especially within your firm if they have a consulting arm), building relevant skills (like data analysis or financial modeling), and practicing case interviews. Highlight your transferable skills, like problem-solving and working with clients, and you’ll be in a good position.
