I’ve heard that Rothschild has some of the most technical interviews in investment banking. Can anyone share examples of the hardest technical questions they ask?
How technical are Rothschild's investment banking interviews?

Hey, thank you for your question! ☺️
Rothschild is known for highly technical interviews. Expect in-depth questions on valuation methods (DCF, LBO, multiples), financial modeling, and accounting interactions. Common questions include: "How does depreciation affect the three financial statements?" or "What’s the difference between FCFF and FCFE?"
My advice: Practice real case studies and financial models thoroughly to answer confidently and efficiently!

They do like to ask a lot of technical questions, but those are usually straight forward. You could be asked to do a walkthrough of a DCF, LBO or other valuation techniques.
They also like to test your knowledge about the current state of the market, and they also like to round up the interviews wih some brainteasers.
