Hi everyone! I'm currently working as a Senior Consultant in Strategy at a Big 4, with a specialization in banking and insurance. Recently, I received an offer to join Orphoz as a Senior Delivery Consultant.
While I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity, I'm also very focused on continued development and want to make sure that such a move wouldn’t be a step back in the long run. I'm open to new industries, but I want to make a thoughtful decision — and would really value your input.
I’d appreciate any insights from people who know Orphoz or have worked there. I’m particularly curious about:
- Are compensation and bonuses really comparable to McKinsey levels?
- How recognizable is the Orphoz brand — especially from the perspective of a future transition to business?
- What’s the work-life balance like?
- Are Orphoz employees perceived as a "second-tier society" within the broader McKinsey ecosystem?
- Is the work focused mostly on soft PMO, or do teams also deep-dive into initiatives identified during the McKinsey strategic phase?
Any honest perspective — whether you’re at McKinsey, Orphoz, or have worked alongside them — would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
