Interview Tips

Hi,

I have a first round OW interview coming up in the next few weeks. This is specifically for their Transportation Practice. The interview format is 2 cases + 1 fit. Should I be expecting cases related to airline, railways, trucking business? or generic. Thanks,

Hi,

You should expect both transportation and generic cases. But definitely makes sense to read about transportation. The best resources for transportation knowledge will be:

  1. Annual reports of the transportation companies (select the top ones)
  2. Monographies (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Transportation-Global-Supply-Chain-Perspective/dp/1133592961/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1524519506&sr=8-2&keywords=transportation)
  3. HBS cases about these industries

Best!
