Hi,
Typically it's a question on creativity. Broadly I would look at the 2 buckets:
- Descktop methods (databases, researches, Investment professionals, industry experts)
- Field methods (IT systems, observations, personal interviews, paperwork, etc)
In a more narrow situation (for example collecting the data on a particular plant) - I would look at the following:
- IT system
- Accounting paperwork
- Interviewing the manager
- Data from 3rd parties (suppliers, distributors)
- Photo of the day (Stopwatch observations)
- Safety journals
- Safety / quality standards
