Consulting Intern interview (Deloitte Malaysia)

Very likely there will be a case but please best clarify with HR as the process varies a little bit by office location.

I recently helped someone get into Deloitte internship in Madrid office and they had a case exercise.

In all likelihood yes, you will have to do at least 1 case. Start preparing now as it takes a lot of time and effort to get ramped up!

Double-check with HR - they should tell you exactly what to expect.

Deloitte normally uses case interviews as part of its recruiting process. I would contact HR to get confirmation on that though.

The best thing to do is to ask the recruiter about the format of the interview so you know what to expect. My hunch would be that there is a case study included, but sometimes, for technical or more specific roles the first round interview is meant to understand more about your background.

Is this Monitor Deloitte or just “Strategy & Operations” or Consulting at Deloitte.

The first one will have a case. The other(s) may not have a case, or have a different format. Check with HR…

You can definitely expect a case interview. You may get a standard case interview, or a written case interview.

However, best to confirm with HR/recruiter on what applies exactly to you as there can be many differences across offices, roles etc.
