I have received the invite to complete a 60m digital interview, powered by HireVue. Does anyone have any insight into what it entails, and how to prepare? Many thanks in advance.

Congrats on receiving an invite! This is what I heard about the HireVue digital interview:

What it entails:

Pre-recorded video questions, you'll see a question on screen, have ~30 seconds to prepare, and ~2 minutes to answer
Some interviews include written or multiple-choice questions, depending on the firm
You’ll likely face a mix of:
- Behavioral questions (e.g., “Tell me about a time you handled a challenge”)
- Motivation questions (e.g., “Why this firm/role?”)
- Possibly case-style or logic questions, if it’s a consulting or analytical role

How to prepare:

Practice structuring your answers using STAR or PARADE format
Record yourself answering sample questions, focus on clarity, eye contact, and concise delivery
Prep common behavioral topics: leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, failure, and motivation
Keep your environment quiet, well-lit, and distraction-free
Dress as you would for a live interview, first impressions still matter!
