About Me
I am an ex-Bainie with over a decade of professional experience. I interviewed with several strategy consultancies before starting my own career and have since interviewed over 100 candidates across seniority levels, giving me a deep understanding of the application process, what firms are looking for, and how you can shine. While I have worked with and hired consultants from all backgrounds, my particular focus over the years has been with advanced degree and non-traditional hires; having made the transition myself from English Professor to Bain Manager, I’m enthusiastic about helping others do the same!
My Approach
My goal is to design a program tailored to each applicant, where I can support you from your initial exploration to after you’ve accepted an offer. This includes:

We will discuss the experiences and coursework that could be beneficial to pursue both during and after your studies, as well as insights into the day-to-day activities and expectations of a life in consulting
- Application review: I will provide a thorough review of your resume and cover letter, with detailed feedback to optimize your chances. We will also discuss how to use your network to support your application
- Case study structuring support: I will help you to structure any case that might come up in an interview. You’ll learn about different types of case questions and how to effectively approach them during your interview
- Communications guidance: I will work with you to develop how you communicate with recruiters, contacts, and interviewers throughout the application process, ensuring that you are seen as a future colleague
- Case study diagnostic: I will provide a comprehensive assessment of your readiness for the upcoming recruiting process. After we work through a case together, I will provide detailed feedback on your approach, analysis, and recommendation, and we’ll use these results to identify the next steps to help you succeed
- Personal fit interview coaching: I will guide you through the most frequently used general and behavioral fit questions typically used in the recruiting process, and help you showcase your strengths in possible responses
- Case study mock interview: I will run you through real-life case studies and provide detailed feedback on your approach, analysis, and recommendation. As we work together, we will tackle more and more difficult cases to ensure that you’re prepared for all situations
- Offer selection support: I will provide guidance on how to evaluate and select job offers, including how to assess the fit of the firm, specific office, role, and compensation package
- Pre-start career counseling: I will give ongoing support to help you prepare for the start of your career in strategy consulting. We’ll discuss how to effectively prepare for the job and also how to navigate the challenges of a consulting role
