I have several years of experience interviewing candidates for consulting positions, have been a member of the interview panel at ZS Associates and a consulting coach at Michigan Ross Careers office. I specialize in both case as well as fit/behavioral interview. I also have deep expertise in Pharma and real-world Market sizing. (more details in "why work with me" section below)
Case prep goal: Through teaching you how to logically think through a case with emphasis on structuring and brainstorming, I will focus on teaching the foundational approach and advanced skill sets required to enable you to solve a variety of cases and at the highest difficulty level, so you get the offer, irrespective of the firm you are interviewing with.
My goal is to help you bridge the gap from being a new/average candidate to an excellent candidate, by showing you a structured approach to problem solving, highlighting the common mistakes to avoid and key areas to focus on to take your case solving to the next level. Outside of hard and soft skills, an important component of clearing an interview is your mindset and how you communicate your approach to solving the case. There are some nuances you should be aware of going into any case interview, that can help you succeed. My coaching and feedback will focus on those areas as well.

Outside of multiple years of experience in strategy consulting , I currently work in commercial strategy in Pharma. My work requires deep expertise in different domains including commercial assessments, licensing and acquisition strategy, competitive benchmarking and market sizing. Thus, the practice cases and insights I give are from real world strategy cases and so are the the market sizing cases and solutions.
Behavioral/fit interview prep: I will work with you to identify experiences from your past that would be best suited to answer the question, and help you craft a story that addresses what interviewers are looking for. Remember, what is most important is what the content tells the audience/interviewer about you, not the details.
Resume review: I have several years of experience reviewing and screening consulting resumes at both business school and in the firm. More importantly, going into MBA, I did not have a prior consulting background and thus understand the challenges candidates with non-consulting background face. I will do a thorough review and update of your resume, and work with you to make a strong consulting candidate resume based on your experience.
