Do you know that interviewers can assess a candidate potential in the first 5-10 min?
It is because the interview emulates how a team member would perform in a real setting. A team manager will always think about 3 questions:
- Is he/she going to perform a task autonomously? This means: understanding the problem, creating an approach (planning) and executing without errors
- Can he/she communicate effectively? This means: listening the task correctly, organizing thoughts and summarizing ideas
- Do I want to work with that person? This means: being a team player, taking challenges
I will assess you in each of those dimensions and give you my inputs on what exactly you need to improve. Also, I understand that interviewing is an uncomfortable and stressful experience, so I use specific hacks that helps mitigating it
