Hello,
the amount of travel at tkMC depends on the location of the project, as well as the preferences of the client and the team. Some projects require weekly travel to the client site for two to three days, while others organize in-person collaboration days at our headquarters in Essen. This is very flexible and changes also from week to week depending on the meetings and project phase.
Therefore, it is difficult to make a general statement, but travel at tkMC is primarily within Germany. However, there are also some international projects where team members spend several weeks on-site.
At Inverto, the amount of travel depends on your role, project, and client needs. As a consultant, you can expect to travel regularly, as we work closely with clients on-site to develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies. However, travel frequency varies—some projects require weekly visits, while others involve more remote collaboration. We also value flexibility and work-life balance, so virtual meetings and hybrid working models are common when on-site presence isn't essential. Ultimately, travel is an exciting part of the job, offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build strong client relationships, and work in different industries and locations.
Hello! :)
At DHL Consulting, travel is (unsurprisingly) depending on the project - but also on your personal preference. By stating how much / little you would prefer to travel, you are able to shape your project staffing and increase / decrease the likelihood by which you will be staffed on a travel / non-travel project. Travel destinations depend on your office location (Bonn, Singapore & Plantation) - for sustainability and convenience reasons, we keep the travel within the region (e.g. Europe).
We still value having face-time with our customers and ensure we meet them regularly and as needed also in person. As the main client for us is the DHL Group, this means you are usually located very lose to them (e.g. for the Bonn Office, walking distance to you clients offices is usually less than 10 minutes). In my opinion, this is one of the big advantages that we have at DHL Consulting. We are able to spontaneously meet our clients and also see them e.g. during lunch breaks, making it even easier to create long-lasting relationships to them that outlast our project time with them.
