I know 1st round interviews are currently ongoing until the 4th of december. I just wanted to know when 2nd round interviews would take place and when offers would be handed out. I know BCG aims to give offers before the end of Nov., what should someone do if they receive an offer from BCG but are still waiting on McK?

This is an excellent question -and also, it´s an excellent problem to have, hahahaha-.
Whenver you are interviewing, each company asks precisely whether you are in this situation (e.g., have you received another offer so far? Are you pending on any deadlines?) If it´s the case, things would speed up incredibly (been there)

If you do receive an offer from BCG but McK is your top choice, let McKinsey know! Tell them you've received another offer from a top tier firm but view McK as your top choice...they'll expedite (Also, ask BCG for more time in making a decision)
You should let the recruiting team know immediately and they can expedite your final round interviews if you have progressed. McK London final rounds are all in the same week before Christmas and so it makes no sense for them to make you wait.

Ideally you can speed up the process with McK. If you call them and explain that you have an offer from BCG, they should be able to accelerate the process.
