Hey everyone,
I'm a rising sophomore at a T20 semi-target for MBB. I transferred here recently, so I'm not in any consulting clubs yet, but I have a 4.0 GPA and spent this summer interning at a YC-backed startup.
I'm trying to get a realistic understanding of what the MBB undergrad recruiting process looks like from start to finish. Sorry if some of these questions seem very shallow.
When do applications typically open for junior summer internships?
How much time do people usually spend preparing, and how competitive is it really?
Is there anything you wish you knew as a sophomore that would've made recruiting easier?
I'd really appreciate hearing how people approached recruiting and what a typical timeline looks like. Thanks!
