Hi,

If you are already working in MBB, then each firm will have their enterprise version of ChatGPT that you can use.

But beyond that - at this stage - I would still focus on improving your core problem solving skills which is basically your thinking and reasoning. That is often the most important attribute in junior levels to get right. You can know how to use a tool technically, but if you are not able to deploy it based on strong logic that makes sense, your manager/client won't view that highly.

I tried strategyforge.ai , it seems to be made for consultants

Hello there,

Agree with Benjamin. Focus on your problem solving skills, both hard and soft ones. You may master the tools, but if you don’t have the proper knowledge, that won’t help.

Best,

Mari

Hi there,

Honestly, if you're at the start of your career, I would work on the old-school skills which are still the bread and butter of the job - critical thinking, top down communication, relationship development, etc.

AI is like an extra tool on top of all of this that can improve things at times, but if you don't have the essentials down to pat, then it can only confuse you.

Best,
Cristian
