I'm starting my 1 year master's this September and am planning to apply to Big 4 grad schemes (mainly in HR/People consulting), as well as similar roles in other firms.
I had two quick questions and would really appreciate any advice:
- Visa sponsorship – Do firms like the Big 4 actually sponsor for HR/People consulting grad roles? I’ve seen mixed info online – some say only strategy or tech roles get sponsorship, others say it depends on the office. Anyone have recent experience with this?
- Hiring freeze / white paper stuff – With all the talk about hiring freezes and the UK’s new migration rules, do you think firms will be hiring fewer grads this year (especially internationals)?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s gone through this recently or has any idea what to expect this cycle. Thanks in advance! :)
