Yes, Bain London sponsors visas for AC and Consultant roles. Most MBB firms in the UK do the same for international candidates.

They sponsor based on the role, not where you live. Whether you're on a student visa, graduate visa, or applying from abroad, it's similar. If they want you, they'll handle the visa.

Being in the UK already on a graduate or work visa can help since you can start sooner while they process things. If you're unsure, just ask the recruiter. They get this question all the time.

Don't let visa worries stop you from applying. If you're good enough to get the offer, the visa part usually works out.

That’s a crucial question. Here’s the reality for Early Career recruiting at Bain London (and largely true for McKinsey and BCG as well).

The short answer is yes, Bain is a registered sponsor and regularly sponsors visas for hires in the UK, especially for roles like Associate Consultant and Consultant. However, simply being eligible for sponsorship and securing a role that requires it are two very different things in the highly competitive London market.

From the firm's perspective, candidates who require visa sponsorship automatically require more administrative time, cost, and a slightly higher risk profile than an identical candidate who is already a home-passport holder. It is realistic to say that requiring a visa raises your effective competitive bar. When recruiter bandwidth and role quotas are tight, you need to be an unambiguous, must-hire candidate to justify the added internal complexity.

Your strategy must therefore be two-fold: First, ensure your CV and cover letter are immaculate, demonstrating outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement. Second, dedicate significant time to networking with Bain staff currently in London—this helps you secure a referral that moves your application past the first digital screen, proving you are worth the sponsorship investment. Good luck.

Hi there,

Yes, Bain London does sponsor visas for early-career roles such as Associate Consultant. Visa sponsorship is common for graduate and junior consulting positions at top firms in the UK and is usually arranged as part of the job offer.

The final confirmation always comes from the recruiter, but in general, visa sponsorship should not be a blocker for Bain London at this level.

Best,
Evelina

Yes, they do.

If you're a great candidate and they make you an offer, they will do everything in their power to make it happen.

This applies to most of the big UK consulting firms.

But with the competition so tight, make sure you have a broad application strategy and don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I've been working with multiple Bain candidates recently (it seems like Bain is on a hiring spree), so if you need help with the interviews, feel free to reach out.

Best,
Cristian

Yes, Bain and other MBBs sponsor visas in London. If they give you an offer, they will make sure you are able to work in the country.

hey there :)

Yes, Bain London does sponsor visas for Early Career or Associate Consultants if you’re not a UK citizen, though they usually prioritize strong candidates and timing matters for the cycle. If you’re already residing in the UK it can make the process smoother, but it’s always best to confirm with recruiting for the specific intake.

best,
Alessa :)

Yes, they sponsor candidates.

But it somewhat raises the bar regarding your performance expectation.
