Question about

To what extent could you use estimation math in this case?

Hi everyone,

this case basically just consists of calculating an ROI. However, some of the numbers are too difficult to calculate in your head and written math is very time-consuming. To what extent it would be ok to use estimation math with an accuracy of about 20% to solve this case on a MBB level? How realistic do you think this case is overall?

Thanks a lot for your help and best regards!

Hi there,

In general, you're allowed to ask to round! If the numbers seem a bit absurd, simply propose rounding "if that's ok" and see what the interviewer says.

That said, make sure you are comfortable with your quick math as well as long divsion/multiplication - best to be prepared!
